Quick Overview

The Daiwa BG is a robust spinning reel designed for anglers who seek power, durability, and reliable performance in both freshwater and saltwater. Thanks to its aluminum body, precision gearing, and smooth ATD drag, it is an excellent choice for spinning, shore fishing, jigging, and catfish fishing in the larger sizes.

Description

The Daiwa BG is known for its solid construction and stable performance under load. The HardBodyz aluminum body provides the drive system with the necessary rigidity, while Digigear II ensures efficient power transmission and smooth operation. The reel is designed for use with monofilament and braided lines, and the ABS II aluminum spool with good line lay helps with precise casting and safer control during the fight. Smaller sizes are excellent for spinning, while larger variants are suited to more demanding saltwater fishing and heavier techniques.
