Drennan Continental Boilie Hooks are produced in a heavy gauge, super high carbon wire, this pattern is exceptionally strong. Hoox XC7 New introduction to our range, this very unique shape of hook came from the experience of our UK consultant Rik Johnson who has revised and improved his all-time favorite pattern the XC4 from our previous range. At first they look almost the same but the new XC7 features very small changes which make a huge difference on the mechanics of the hook. The hook shank has been slightly shortened which aids strength and the eye is now turned down by 3 degrees which dramatically increases the rotation/flip speed. Hoox XC2 An all-time classic pattern, one of the most popular and effective hooks ever. If you were only allowed to choose one hook to fish with, than we strongly suggest the XC2. Long shank, straight point and down turned eye make it a great choice and so versatile for many presentations. Whether it's a pop-up, bottom bait, balanced bait or snowman. Mixa The first dedicated floater fishing hook. These have been designed to hook even the shyest feeding carp on the surface. With a short shank, super-wide gape, beaked, offset point, they are truly made for the job. The final most noticeable point about these hooks is their sharpness; positively hypodermic is the best possible description. The guys at Korda have been using them for all manner of carp fishing situations as Ali Hamidi explained, "They were initially designed for surface fishing, but great hook patterns like this, considering their sharpness and characteristics lend themselves to lots of fishing scenarios. Kaptor Wide Gape These hooks represent the biggest breakthrough in hook manufacture... ever. We took one of the truly iconic hook patterns and coated it with the industry's first colored PTFE finish to make them blend in even better. The ultra-sharp Kaptor point has been left uncoated, because the development team had noticed that uncoated points were sharper. To preserve the eye-wateringly sharp point, each hook is 'capped' with a rubber blob. This process ensures that the sharpest point in the carp world stays just that. Each hook is then clipped into a bespoke packet so that it stays pristine until you need it. The Kaptor Wide Gape range is available in Weed Green and Gravelly Brown camouflage. The colors have been carefully selected to closely match the most common lake bed conditions. The Korda team is in an excellent position to do this because of our extensive underwater experience. What this all means is that carp will find your rig much more difficult to spot on the lake bed, even up close. Choddy This hook was designed primarily for use with the popular chod and hinged stiff rig presentations, alongside a stiff filament like Mouth Trap. However, its appeal doesn't end there, it's a super all-round pop-up hook, which can be used with rigs like Darrell Peck's N-Trap pop-up rig, as well as Tom Dove's N-Trap bottom-bait rig . To allow the sweeping curve of the chod rig to continue unhindered up onto the hook, the Choddy has an out-turned eye. The rest of its shape is based around the magical dimension of the iconic Wide Gape pattern, with all its attendant hold-and-hold capabilities. The Choddy is thicker in the wire than the standard Wide Gape, which makes it perfect for the biggest carp in the world. Crank Choddy Not long after the Krank hook was conceived, Tom Dove hatched a plan to introduce a chod version, with an out-turned eye. His imagination was captured by the way that the continuously curving shank could mirror the curve of the chod rig, creating what many of us consider to be the ultimate chod hook. Just like the standard Krank hooks, the Krank Choddy has a beaked point and slight offset that combine to offer unrivaled hook hold security.
