ESP Tungsten Loaded is a heavy sinking coated braid with an ultra-strong Dyneema core. Since its launch in 2015, it has become widely regarded as the best coated hooklink available. The tough, matt camo tungsten coating sinks heavily and strips easily while being resilient to fracturing on knots. Straightens without steaming. The super strong Dyneema core has an achievable knot strength of over 30lb. This soft version is perfect for subtle presentations with hook baits such as small boilies and nuts. Balanced or buoyant baits combined with the inherent suppleness of the braid will help the rig settle perfectly while still pushing the bait away from the lead. The semi-stiff version is outstanding as an all-round coated hooklink. Available in six sizes from 0.1g to 0.6g, it features a thickened 0.6mm spring stainless wire stem for improved stability compared to glass or carbon. The stem is also only bonded halfway into the bulbous body, rather than continuing up into the bristle, to improve the float's balance and behavior without adding unnecessary weight and detracting from the buoyancy. Drennan's unique Crystal® technology was once just the domain of wagglers and running-line floats – but it has now entered the realm of pole floats! We believe we are the only manufacturers in the world capable of 'blow-moulding' these super-tough pole float bodies to such a small, exacting size. Our latest machine is even smaller than that used to create our famous Puddlechucker pellet wagglers. An obvious advantage of a Crystal Dibber is how unobtrusive it is in clear or shallow water. A solid-colored pole float casts a distinct shadow and is much more visible to fish feeding up in the water or in the marginal shallows and so cannot compare to a see-through design like this. That means a fish is less easily spooked and much more willing to venture towards your hook bait. This is a major advantage when fishing up in the water for any species, from carp and F1s to roach and chub. Ultimately, it will mean more bites and more fish in the net! The short, compact shape is ideal for margin fishing and also when targeting island swims and far-bank features. It also makes a great choice for shallow fishing, particularly on windy days when a thick bristle is sometimes easier to spot than a more traditional dibber design. The black fiberglass stem is short, extremely robust and bonded securely into the body. A double-wound spring eye adds even more security when the float is put under pressure.
