Savage Gear 3D Fat Smashtail 8cm 12g Floating

Quick Overview

The Savage Gear 3D Fat Smashtail 8 cm 12 g Floating is a surface lure designed to strongly provoke predatory fish right on the surface. Thanks to its loud Smashtail effect, realistic 3D profile, and floating construction, it is an excellent choice for targeting pike, asp, chub, and bass in shallow water and around vegetation.

Description

This topwater lure is based on a 3D-scanned profile of a small trout, giving it a highly convincing appearance in the water. On the retrieve, the rotating tail creates a loud plop, a pronounced wake, and a trail of bubbles that further trigger strikes. The floating design allows effective presentation over shallow areas, along the edges of reeds, lily pads, weed beds, and other positions where predators ambush prey.
