1 – Grasp the tool with your left hand. Place the hook in its clamp according to Fig. 1, tightening the locking nut with your thumb and forefinger. Excessive tightening is not necessary.

2 – Orient it according to Fig. 2, so that the jumper is in the upper position. Pass the string around the back and pass it around the front. Hold the string approximately at the angle shown in Fig. 2.

3 – Turn it in your hand according to Fig. 3 (usually: 5 turns). Keep the string taut while winding.

4 – Keeping the string taut, pull it through the open front of the rider. According to Fig. 4.

5 – Push the jumper by pressing the front part with the left thumb. Holding this position, pull the string coming out of the spool.

6 – Loosen the nut and pull the fiber from the spool again to release the assembly. Cut off the excess string.
