Short Overview

The Okuma Epixor XT EPXT is a lightweight and robust spinning reel designed for anglers seeking reliable performance, precise line lay, and long-lasting durability. It is an excellent choice for freshwater spinning, and with proper rinsing after use it is also suitable for occasional sea fishing.

Description

The Epixor XT EPXT series was developed to combine low weight, high rigidity, and smooth operation during everyday fishing. The C-40X carbon fiber construction with TCA reinforcement reduces reel body twist under load, while slow oscillation helps ensure neat mono and braided line lay for longer and more accurate casts. The reel is suitable for various spinning techniques, from light and medium-heavy lure fishing to versatile use on rivers, lakes, and the shore.

Features

Lightweight C-40X carbon fiber construction
Corrosion-resistant graphite body and rotor
Multi-disc drag system with Japanese oiled felt washers
7+1 stainless steel bearings for smooth operation
Quick-Set anti-reverse system
Precision machine-cut brass pinion gear
Slow oscillation system for better line lay
Rigid metal handle
Heavy-duty aluminum bail wire
Machined aluminum spool with two-tone anodizing and LCS lip
RESII computer-balanced rotor for smoother operation

Technology

TCA (Torsion Control Armor) reduces reel body twist and increases stability under load
C-40X carbon fiber construction provides an excellent ratio of low weight to rigidity
CFR (Cyclonic Flow Rotor) promotes faster reel drying and helps reduce corrosion
