Product Details

Short overview

Okuma Big Bomber Spod BBS is a powerful spod reel developed for carp fishing, especially for precise baiting with a spod rocket and working with a marker float. Its robust construction, fast progressive drag, and worm shaft transmission make it an excellent choice for anglers seeking long and repeatable casts.

Description

This reel is designed for demanding carp fishing situations where capacity, control, and reliability during frequent casting are essential. The graphite body with BBD construction, aluminum spool, two metal line clips, and XXL line roller help ensure neat line lay of monofilament or braided line and reduce line twist during intensive use on spod and marker setups.

Features

Graphite body for a good strength-to-weight ratio
3+1 bearings for smooth operation
Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing
Machined anodized aluminum spool
Two round metal line clips for precise distance clipping
Rigid metal handle with TPE Ergo Grip knob
XXL Even Flow line roller for reduced line twist
Worm shaft transmission for even line lay
Reinforced anodized aluminum bail arm
Hydro Block protection

Technology

BBD (Body Blade Design) for improved body stability
Worm Shaft transmission system for precise line lay
FPD (Fast Progressive Drag System) for fast and progressive drag adjustment
RESII (Computer-balanced Rotor Equalizing System) for smoother rotor operation and less vibration
Hydro Block for additional protection of sensitive parts
