Gamakatsu Gape Head

Short overview

The Gamakatsu Gape Head jig head is designed for anglers looking for secure hook-ups and stable performance with bulkier soft lures. The wide gape opening, long double bait keeper, and carefully distributed weight make it an excellent choice for spinning and jigging for predatory fish.

Description

This jig head was developed for more precise and effective presentation of soft lures such as shads, swimbaits, grubs, and creature models. Thanks to the construction with weight distribution along the head and hook shank, the lure maintains better balance underwater, while the hook with an extra-wide gape opening enables more reliable hook-ups even with bulkier soft plastics. It is suitable for fishing for zander, pike, bass, and other predatory fish in still and running waters.
