This Bobbin Kit contains everything you need for effective bite indication, whether you are fishing in the margins or at long range. The kit contains two line clips. One is a traditional ball clip that allows movement through the clip, while the other is a Ying-Yang design that can either be used free running or pinched to the line for unrivaled sensitivity. There is a small bobbin head which is ideal for short to medium range, as well as a larger head which is suitable for long range fishing. Two memory-free Dacron cords are also included, as well as a 5g add on weight. ESP Black Stainless Bobbin Kit - White Due to popular demand, black and white pure PTFE bobbins with black stainless fittings – all made in the ESP UK factory, ensuring exceptional quality and precision. For the fittings we have used high grade stainless steel with a special durable black coating. Each kit contains - PTFE Barrel Bobbin - Interchangeable ball clips - Interchangeable grip clips - 3" and 7" stainless steel reversible black stainless ball chains - 3g black stainless add-on weight - Black stainless steel hockey stick The two stainless ball chains have a unique feature where we have used a machined acetyl connector at one end and a 3g black stainless connector at the other. This allows the chain to be simply reversed to add weight to the bobbin when required. Also adding the 3g stainless add-on weight integrated into the hockey stick increases the weight further and means that the PTFE bobbin can be used at weights of 5g, 8g or 11g. This makes for a highly versatile set up suitable for everything from slack line fishing where a light bobbin is required to tight line fishing at range with the weight of the bobbin increased to the maximum. The interchangeable line clips simply allow the bobbin to be fished running on the line with the ball clips or gripping the line 'Elstow style' with the grip clips. The 3" ball chain is best suited to this setup, with the bobbin fished on a short drop near the bite alarm. The light will fade out to nothing in the 5 seconds after the trigger lights have gone out on the receiver as long as no more indications are received
