The new Freams LT (Light & Tough) captivates with its modern design and technical details. The MagSealed construction prevents the penetration of water and dirt through the shafts and ensures a long service life of the gears with uniform and smooth rotation. The ATD brake works with minimal initial resistance and offers optimal control especially during critical fish fights - perfect when using thin braided lines. As the new carbon material is used to make the body of the reel, DAIWA was able to significantly reduce the weight of the reel and at the same time ensure an absolutely rigid bearing of the gears. The new Tough Digigear design enables better power transmission and longer gear life.

With the Freams LT, DAIWA has combined proven and simple Japanese technologies with the LT concept, which gives the structure reduced weight and increased sensitivity.

Freams reels are made for fishing in fresh water, as well as for fishing for sea trout or light jigging for cod, pollack and coalfish.
