The Basix Baiting Needle can be used with most baits, as it is sharp and strong, meaning that it can be pushed through most hard baits without fear of splitting them. The 'crook' on the end has been designed to hold your hair in place while the bait is threaded onto it, off of the needle, but without danger of it fraying braided materials or causing them to separate, which can make it hard to insert a hair stop. The bright green handle has been ergonomically designed, and should you drop it on the ground it makes it easier to find. The chrome plated needle has been designed to last and won't rust.

The BASIX Carp Cradle has been designed to offer the maximum protection to your catch when it is on the bank, while at the same time being practical to use and carry. It is made from 50mm padded foam to provide plenty of cushioning, with a waterproof outer layer that is designed to be fish-friendly when wet and won't remove the fish's protective slime. The padded walls help ensure that your catch stays safe and within its confines. When not in use the BASIX Carp Cradle folds in two, and there is space to store a Carp Care Kit and Basix Weigh Sling inside. The carry handles can also be used to peg it down once you're in a swim to prevent any risk of it blowing away. The BASIX Carp Cradle is suitable for carp up to 40lb/18kg.

The BASIX Coated Hooklink is a soft, supple coated braid material that lends itself to all sorts of different presentations for bottom baits, wafters and pop-ups. Both the inner braid and outer coating are a subtle 'camo green' color to help ensure that it will blend in with whatever type of lakebed you are fishing over. It will lay straight without the need for steaming and has great anti-tangle properties, plus the coating can easily be stripped back where required to create a hinge and give your rigs extra movement. It knots very well without breaking the outer coating, and good strength can be achieved with any conventional fishing knot. The BASIX Coated Hooklink comes in a choice of 18lb or 25lb breaking strains, and is supplied on 10m, which should be plenty enough to last you for a long time and to tie lots of rigs!

The BASIX Distance Sticks have been designed to allow you to 'clip-up' at the required distance as easily and accurately as possible, ensuring that you can recast to the same spot repeatedly with your fishing rods and spod. Keeping a record of your spots will also mean that you are able to fish them again on future sessions, should you find ones that are productive. BASIX Distance Sticks have a stainless-steel point to allow them to be easily pushed or screwed into the ground, and include a green cord of exactly 12ft in length so that they can easily be set the same distance apart each time. A T-bar is supplied to ensure they go into almost any ground with ease. The BASIX Distance Sticks are made from a stylish gray anodised aluminum with bright green end caps on the top for increased visibility - especially in low light or when using them with a headtorch at night. The caps can be unscrewed so that the T-bar can be stored inside, to ensure it isn't lost when not in use.

The BASIX Ready Tied Hair Rigs are ready to use straight out of the packet, all you need to do is add either a bottom bait or wafter, and you're good to go! These rigs are tied using the camo green colored BASIX Coated Hooklink material, with a small section stripped back by the BASIX Wide Gape hook to allow movement and increase hooking potential. They have a supple hair with a piece of silicone to hold it in place on the shank and help prevent tangles, and the length of that hair has been optimized for hookbait sizes that suit the size of hook you have selected. The size 8 is designed for 12mm hookbaits, size 6 for a 15mm and size 4 for an 18mm. Each rig is supplied with several Hair Stops and different sized Extenda Stops, to allow you to alter the length of the hair and use different sized baits to those for which the rig has been designed. At the other end of the BASIX Hair Rigs there is a loop and a BASIX Anti Tangle Sleeve to enable it to be quickly and easily attached to a BASIX Lead Clip Leader or BASIX Lead Clip Action Pack set-up (which includes QC swivels). This is the Chibi (minature) version of the Dartrun plug. A sinking lipless plug that darts in all directions when jerked and twitched positively.
