MATRIX Horizon X Tapered Shock Leader 8lb / 12lb (12m)

Quick Overview

Matrix Horizon X Tapered Shock Leader is a quality shock leader for anglers looking for safer casting and greater casting distances. The tapered profile reduces friction through the guides, while high abrasion resistance and knot strength provide added reliability in feeder and match fishing.

Description

This tapered monofilament shock leader was developed for situations where it is necessary to transfer the load during a powerful swing and when casting heavier rigs. The taper from 0,22 mm to 0,28 mm allows smoother passage through the rod guides, with better control and a reduced risk of breakage during the cast. The discreet colour contributes to a subtle presentation, making it an excellent choice for long-distance casting on canals, lakes, and other waters where precision and reliability are key.
