Small, aerodynamic and therefore completely inconspicuous floating bodies in front of the bait, with a load capacity of 1.5 and 3.5 grams, guarantee catchability and enable an extremely catchable presentation of the bait in rough waters. The bait is placed just above the ground using a Micro U-float. Depending on the size of the bait, several Micro U-floats can be attached to the line. They ensure greater buoyancy with little water turbulence on the line.

Stefan Seuss also recommends using a Micro U-float when fishing in rock packs to make the leader and bait appear weightless over sharp rock edges. The bright colors neon yellow and neon red are used in clear water conditions and are visually appealing to catfish.
