The Band'um range is perfect for using with a bait band, their dumbell shape with bulbous ends means that they can be banded with ease using a Pellet Bander or Bait Bander and then it is difficult for the bait band to slip off or the hook bait to be pulled off by fish, which means more time fishing and less time rebaiting. During manufacturing, Oozing Pop Ups are made with very high levels of highly water soluble ingredients including flavors and colors, because of this once they are in water they begin to leak off their attractants into the water and you can actually see the color and flavor oozing out of the pop up into the water column. Not only does this create a visual attraction it also leads a flavor trail to the pop up which increases in concentration the closer a carp gets to the bait. This flavor trail oozes from the pop up for over 24 hours due to the high levels which are put in at the manufacturing level so the ingredients do not wash off and away quickly. The flavor is slightly heavier than water so it will ooze down or be carried away from the pop up depending on the underwater currents making it perfect for Chod or Zig rigs as well as all other pop up rigs. Lava Rocks can totally transform a Method Feeder. This clever little addition is best used by shaking some Lava Rocks out into the base of a Method Mould, a little goes a long way so a thin layer is fine. Then put some groundbait or softened 2mm pellets in the Method Mold, then place your hookbait in and add more groundbait or pellets. Firmly press the Method Feeder into the Method Mold and when you release the method feeder the Lava Rocks will be on the top of the feeder. This means that when your Method Feeder has landed the Lava Rocks cause a big cloud of attraction on top of the feeder enticing fish to feed. Lava Rocks have a multitude of different uses, they can be added to PVA Bags or PVA stocking they can be put in the middle of groundbait balls or they can be cupped directly into the swim, this is especially productive when fishing the margins. They are available in 5 standard colors to suit a variety of fishing situations: Black (unflavoured) is particularly effective in winter when the water is clear, or on lakes that have lots of silt Red (unflavoured) is one of the most powerful colors, it stands out in different water conditions. Green (unflavoured) is excellent when used in conjunction with green groundbaits Yellow (unflavoured) is the brightest of the standard colors and stands out well against a dark lake bed Chocolate Orange is a great color when fishing commercials, the bright color stands out well.
