Our latest Drennan Specialist Landing Nets are ideal for specimen tench, bream, chub and barbel. They are available in two sizes, both featuring high modulus carbon arms that slot neatly into a lightweight, but extremely strong, spreader block complete with stainless steel screw fitting. The smaller 32" (81cm) version has a 27" (69cm) gape at the front and 8mm mesh, while the larger 36" (91cm) option has a 31" (79cm) gape and larger 10mm mesh. This allows for faster scooping and offers minimal resistance in the flow should you be fishing a river. The mesh itself is a strong yet soft hexagonal design in an unobtrusive olive green color. These nets have been extensively tested and are the ideal companion to our Super Specialist Twistlock and Compact Twistlock Handles. The stiffness, power and handling give you better reach and net control, landing your fish more easily. At 4.0m long it comes in three sections, two of which feature a robust internal metal thread.

Designed, developed and thoroughly tested with five times world champion Alan Scotthorne, the Drennan Acolyte 4.0m Landing Net Pole is super stiff, slim and strong – all the qualities you'd expect from a top quality handle. The 4m length offers you vital extra reach for high banks, deeper swims and netting fish beyond marginal snags. It is three pieces and fully taken apart. The second section is also threaded, so it can be used at 2.6m (top two sections) or 2.8m (bottom two sections) for those who favor a shorter and even stiffer handle. The smaller thread is stainless steel and the larger thread is machined brass. Both are pinned and reinforced for extra security and an EVA nose cone on the No. 3 section adds a nice finishing touch.
