Korda LongChuck Tapered Leaders

Quick Overview

Korda LongChuck Tapered Leaders are tapered leaders developed for long-distance casting and safer casting without crack-offs. Thanks to the tapered transition, low stretch, and good abrasion resistance, they are an excellent choice for carp fishing at longer ranges and fishing over gravel bars.

Description

This tapered shock leader is designed for anglers who want to make the most of long-range casting potential with a neater connection to the main line. The construction with a thicker 30 lb (13,61 kg) section and 0,47 mm diameter takes the load during the cast, while the tapered end narrows to a thinner diameter for easier passage through the guides and reduced resistance. It is especially suitable for carp fishing on large waters, distance fishing, and situations where extra protection is needed when fishing over hard bottoms and gravel.

Features

• The total length of one leader is 10 m
• 8 m main section of 30 lb (13,61 kg) and 0,47 mm
• The tapered transition allows for a neater knot and better passage through the guides
• Transparent mono material with low weight for less resistance in flight
• Developed for long-distance casting and long-range fishing
• An excellent choice for fishing over gravel bars
• Five leaders on one spool
• Three variants for matching with the main line

Technology

• Ultra-low stretch – very low stretch for better power transfer during the cast
• Low water absorption – low water absorption for more stable performance
• Lightweight for its breaking strain – low mass relative to breaking strain
• High breaking strain to diameter ratio – high breaking strain to diameter ratio for reduced resistance
