Tungsten Loaded Tube is significantly heavier than leadcore and is exceptionally supple, so it follows lake-bed contours, keeps the last few feet of mainline protected and anchors it hard to the bottom.
The 0.65mm internal bore is easy to thread, even accepting tapered leaders and the outside diameter is a good fit for a variety of tail rubbers and rig sleeves.

These Chod Rig Sleeves are the first of their kind on the market, designed to be used in conjunction with the chod rig to prevent the hook from coming into contact with the lead and to act as a buffer-like shock absorber when playing fish.
The flexible silicone tube is mounted onto a soft sleeve which houses the lead retaining clip and provides a neat, streamlined system. You might wonder why this component is comprised of two parts, rather than being molded as one piece. Well, the thermoplastic rubber used to mold the clip link retaining sleeve is malleable yet tough and is perfect for sleeving the clip link yet does not have the soft flexibility and inherent 'spring' of good old silicone tube so ESP have combined the two materials to create the perfect shock absorber buffer sleeve for chod rig work. The silicone tube can be shortened if required, as can the clip retaining sleeve if the leader is tied directly to the lead loop.

Starbaits safety lead clips offer a simple but effective lead clip that can be used in any circumstances. Available in Weedy Green, Stoney Gravel and Muddy Brown colors to match your fishing area. Safety Lead Clips fit neatly over a size 8 rolling swivel and can be used effectively with Starbaits tail rubbers.
Push the tail rubbers over the clip to the desired tension, the further you push the rubber up the clip the tighter the clip will be held, for lead dropping either slightly push the rubber on or leave the lead tail out of the rubber. When the lead and tail rubber are all connected to the safety lead clip the overall system is very neat and strong and extremely reliable.
