Margin Carp New for 2014 is Margin Carp, a groundbait designed specifically for catching big carp in the margins. The problem with a lot of groundbaits that people use for catching carp in the margins is that they are too light and don't contain enough feed to keep the fish feeding. Often when carp come into the margins they will stir up the bottom when feeding and as soon as they eat hooked all the groundbait which has brought them to the margin is wafted away by the hooked fish. Because of this we have created a groundbait which not only draws the carp to the margins but also keeps them there as even if the fish kicks up the groundbait, the majority of it will drop back down in the same area rather than being washed away. We have created this groundbait by using heavy ingredients which we have crushed into small particle sizes, this means that once you add water they soak it up and become heavy so when a fish does stir the bait up the weight of the particle size takes it back to the bottom very quickly and therefore keeps the rest of the fish feeding in the margins.

This groundbait has seen its following grow year on year as anglers turn to it for all number of situations. A big favorite for Dutch bream anglers in particular, this blend of koi pellets and betaine has seen thousands of bream accounted for across Europe. Closer to home, this mix is ​​a proven winner on heavily fished venues, as green is a color that has become related to success on commercial fisheries up and down the country. A fine mix, add water slowly to achieve the desired consistency. The try adding F1 corn for a winning combination for carp and bream.

Pro Robin Red contains the legendary Haith's Robin Red. For decades it has been regarded as one of the best additives for specimen carp and now we have included it in a match groundbait along with other spices resulting in a truly unique groundbait! It is easy to mix and binds well to a Method Feeder and breaks down quickly, this is all down to the consistency and fine texture of the ingredients used. The fine particles create an inactive mix when dampened which is perfect for a rapid breakdown of feed around the hook. It can also be balled, or cupped in as slop. The fine texture of the groundbait means it will form a light haze of attractants as it melts off the feeder, quickly creating a feeding area. Pro Green Robin Red is simple to mix. Empty the bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 1 pint maggot tub with water, pour this onto the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then allow it to rest for 30 minutes, during this time the water will be absorbed into the groundbait. Then for best results; to remove any lumps and create an even consistency, pass the groundbait through a riddle and it is ready to use. Alternatively, you can use a drill and whisk, this is now the preferred method of many of our consultants. When fishing sun and wind may dry the groundbait out a little, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or if it does dry out just add a little more water and mix again.
