Our latest Drennan Specialist Landing Nets are ideal for specimen tench, bream, chub and barbel. They are available in two sizes, both featuring high modulus carbon arms that slot neatly into a lightweight, but extremely strong, spreader block complete with stainless steel screw fitting. The smaller 32" (81cm) version has a 27" (69cm) gape at the front and 8mm mesh, while the larger 36" (91cm) option has a 31" (79cm) gape and larger 10mm mesh. This allows for faster scooping and offers minimal resistance in the flow should you be fishing a river. The mesh itself is a strong yet soft hexagonal design in an unobtrusive olive green color. These nets have been extensively tested and are the ideal companion to our Super Specialist Twistlock and Compact Twistlock Handles. Bungee Connector Beads are ideal for hollow elastic such as Drennan Carp Bungee. The combination of a semi-flexible bulbous bead and a tough nylon cone for attachment provides the ideal setup for all diameters of Drennan Carp Bungee and other tubular elastics. Connector Beads work best when used in conjunction with the correct size of PTFE Bungee Bush. The Drennan Pull Bung is aimed at the pole angler who wants to tighten up the elastic temporarily when landing a fish. This clever device enables the angler to adjust the amount of elastic a fish can take from the base end of a top kit. Used sensibly it can enable an angler to effectively use a lighter grade of pole elastic and still be in control of both large and small fish. The pack comes with two different sizes of toggle beads to accommodate a wide range of solid and hollow elastics. It also comes fitted with super slick PTFE bushes at both the top and bottom. Drennan Polemaster Hook Ups and Depth Marker Bands are essential items of pole fishing equipment. Hook Ups allow you to keep your pole rig safely on your top kit when you are not using it. They are best set at rig depths to avoid exposing unnecessary lengths of elastic under tension. This avoids over-tensioning the elastic and exposing it to sunlight for too long. Depth Marker Bands are colored silicone pieces that can be adjusted along the pole section to your rig depth as required thus avoiding the use of Tipp-Ex. Drennan Pellet Wagglers are available in both loaded and unloaded versions. The translucent body ensures that they are unobtrusive in the water and perfect for wary carp feeding in shallow water. The unloaded versions are normally fished with a locking shot placed on either side of the float stem. The loaded versions are best fixed onto the line with Drennan Grippa Stops either side of the float. In both cases, a Drennan Float Attachment will enable you to swap float sizes quickly and efficiently without having to rethread the waggler onto the line. Drennan Polemaster Slick Lubricant is a must for smooth, trouble-free fish playing. It provides a micro film which literally makes the elastic feel polished and slick. Regular use will prolong the life of your elastic, and it will not build up a deposit inside the pole or leave a sticky residue. For best results, spray directly onto the elastic or down the inside of the pole. This product can also be used on braided reel line to help reduce friction on the cast. Supplied in an easy-to-use 150ml spray bottle.

There are two Carp keepnets and two Carp/Silverfish keepnets, both available in 8ft (2.5m) and 10ft (3m) lengths. Each is made from super soft, carp fishery approved mesh with a robust, fail-safe Angle Tilt mechanism. The Carp keepnets are 40cm by 50cm wide and feature fine carp-sack-style mesh throughout, plus weighted base rings. The Carp/Silverfish versions are 35cm by 45cm wide and made from soft micromesh material with a carpsack-style base over the bottom two or three sections. Again, the last few base rings are weighted. It is also very easy to accommodate sensible sized landing nets inside both sizes of keepnet. Drennan Grippa Stops are large, tapered rubber float stops which hold position on the line exceptionally well. The Grippa Stop's bulbous end makes a perfect stop for small sliding rings, or for locking wagglers into position. Two Grippa Stops next to each other provide even more security when casting heavy bombs, wageglers and feeders. The direction of the stop on the main line can also be reversed by taking it off the wire onto a loop of nylon and then transferring it to the reel line.
