MATCH METHOD MIX
Designed for use by the modern match angler who wants to fish a flat bed Method Feeder on commercial match fisheries with confidence.
This mix contains the highest quality crushed pellets and fishmeals and its consistency is such that it stays on the feeder through the cast, the impact with the water and the drop through the water of most commercial venues. Once the Method Feeder hits the bottom it breaks down quickly building up the line and keeping the fish there and competing without over feeding them. Each bag comes with a free Preston Innovations Method Feeder inside. Perfect for all species of coarse fish, especially Carp, F1's and Bream.
Des Shipp (England International) says "For Method Feeder fishing in water up to about 6 feet then this is the groundbait to use. It is really easy to mix, binds well and breaks up quickly around the Method Feeder when it hits the bottom, it is a mixture of crushed pellets which gives you all the attraction you want on waters that are dominated by pellets."
MIXING GUIDELINES
Match Method Mix is simple to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 2 pint maggot tub with water, pour this onto the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then allow it to rest for 30 minutes, during this time the water will be absorbed into the groundbait . Then for best results; to remove any lumps and create an even consistency, pass the groundbait through a riddle and it is ready to use.
When fishing sun and wind may dry the groundbait out a little, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or if it does dry out just add a little more water and mix again.
Super Feeder Dark is a sweet-smelling, fluffy groundbait mix that is perfect for feeder fishing.
With the popularity of Feeder fishing increasing, we have designed a groundbait that is extremely easy to mix and offers the angler a traditional groundbait with a modern twist!
Designed in conjunction with world-class feeder anglers such as Mick Vials, Will Freeman and Lee Kerry, this groundbait is a must-have for feeder fishing on venues that respond well to natural groundbaits.
Lots of traditional groundbaits can be hard to mix correctly, which can be the difference between a good days fishing, or a bad one! We needed to create a groundbait that not only mixed extremely easily, but one that caught fish.
Super Feeder can be used straight from the bag, as an extremely effective groundbait for skimmers, bream or roach. For a stickier mix, you can add some Sonubaits Groundbait and Pellet Binder!
Super Feeder Dark is perfect for clear or shallow venues, where the fish will not settle over a bed of light groundbait. Its rich dark brown color will leave fish feeding confidently.
With the resurgence of silver fish fishing on natural venues and commercial fisheries over winter we have decided that it is time to produce four new groundbaits specifically for silvers.
We have developed these groundbaits in conjunction with some of the best silver fish anglers in the UK including Des Shipp, Lee Kerry, Steve Saunders, Mick Vials, Michael Buchwalder & Will Freeman.
We took a fresh look at the market and decided to produce four new groundbaits, all of which could be mixed straight from the bag or mixed with the others in the range to tailor a groundbait for a specific day on a specific venue.
So Natural Black Lake is a very versatile groundbait that can be used on the pole or feeder. It is quite active especially when mixed on the dry side ensuring continuous action. Perfect for all silver fish in lakes. When freshly mixed the groundbait and its particles come out of the feeder easily creating a good bed of bait and with the inclusion of lots of hemp, coconut and coriander this is the perfect combination for roach, and skimmers on natural lakes. This black version is perfect on clearer venues, or when used to darken off a mix.
Lee Kerry (England International) says "So Natural Black Lake and Lake are two of the most versatile groundbaits I use, it is my first choice for fishing natural venues for skimmers, roach and hybrids. It is perfect for fishing up to about 6 feet deep, anything deeper and I tend to mix it with So Natural River and soil to make it heavier and bind more tightly."
Developed by some of the best anglers in the UK and Europe for targeting commercial fisheries. These premium groundbaits are all fine in texture, bind well so they are ideal for a method feeder and are also perfect for the pole.
Deep green in color and packed with fishmeal this versatile groundbait is perfect for Carp, F1's & Skimmers. Pro Green Fishmeal contains high quantities of low temperature fishmeal which is highly digestible and water soluble and also contains spirulina which is rich in protein, vitamins and minerals which fish recognize as a valuable food source.
It is easy to mix and binds well to a Method Feeder and breaks down quickly, this is all down to the consistency and fine texture of the ingredients used. The fine fishmeal particles create an inactive mix when dampened which is perfect for a rapid breakdown of feed around the hook. The fine texture of the groundbait means it will form a light haze of attractants as it melts off the feeder, quickly creating a feeding area.
It can also be made into balls and supped in on the pole, and also creates a great slop for shallow fishing.
Pro Green Fishmeal is simple to mix. Empty the bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 1 pint maggot tub with water, pour this onto the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then allow it to rest for 30 minutes, during this time the water will be absorbed into the groundbait. Then for best results; to remove any lumps and create an even consistency, pass the groundbait through a riddle and it is ready to use.
Alternatively, you can use a drill and whisk, this is now the preferred method of many of our consultants.
When fishing sun and wind may dry the groundbait out a little, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or if it does dry out just add a little more water and mix again.

A deep red ground bait which has been finely milled and then sieved, designed for Carp, F1's & Skimmers. Perfect for commercial fisheries where big weights are needed to win. Pro Robin Red contains the legendary Haith's Robin Red. For decades it has been regarded as one of the best additives for specimen carp and now we have included it in a match groundbait along with other spices resulting in a truly unique groundbait!

Salmon meal is a single source fishmeal made by drying salmon meat. The salmon meal we use has been dried at low temperatures and therefore retains all its smell and potency. It is one of the strongest fishmeals available, high in protein and oil. We add this to a blend of finely milled and sieved pellets which also contain fishmeal and meat extracts.

Thatchers groundbait gained a cult following over the last 20 years as being the go to groundbait for many anglers, originally only available through the Thatchers shop. This finely ground and sieved pellet based groundbait has extra fishmeal added and a small amount of breadcrumbs for texture and is perfect for commercials.

A mix for catching lumps down the edge. We all know that a match can be won or lost in the last hour as often the bigger fish move to the edge and start feeding confidently, this is why it is important to have the right groundbait to feed in the edge.
Carp are attracted to groundbait and they will come in and feed confidently if the area is primed. The problem with a lot of groundbaits that people use for catching carp in the margins is that they are too light and don't contain enough feed to keep the fish feeding. Often when carp come into the margins they will stir up the bottom when feeding and as soon as they are hooked all the groundbait which has brought them to the margin is wafted away by the hooked fish.
Because of this, we created a groundbait which not only draws the carp to the margins but also keeps them there as even if the fish kicks up the groundbait, the majority of it will drop back down in the same area rather than being washed away.
We have created this groundbait by using heavy ingredients which we have crushed into small particle sizes, this means that once you add water they soak it up and become heavy so when a fish does stir the groundbait up the weight of the particle size takes it back to the bottom very quickly and therefore keeps the rest of the fish feeding in the margins.
Robin Red Margin Mix is also packed full of spices including Haith's Robin Red. An ingredient that has helped catch big carp all over the world for a number of years!
Method feeder fishing is one of the most popular techniques used by modern match anglers, this means the fish have probably already been caught on it a number of times and therefore can be a bit wary or in some lakes, they have changed the way they feed .
This was noticed by Des Shipp when he kept getting knocks on the Method but they were not turning into proper bites. This is because the fish were knocking all the groundbait off the feeder without touching the hookbait, so effectively leaving the hookbait with no feed around it, which defeats the purpose of fishing a Method feeder. So, we decided to make a groundbait which was stickier, harder, denser and easy to compact onto a Method feeder for venues where this occurs.
Robin Red Method Mix has a very high protein content which comes from fishmeals and ground pellets, and it is this which helps it compact round a Method feeder, this means it will easily withstand the impact of casting, hitting the water and the drop through the water and any little knocks from fish trying to knock away the groundbait.
Included in Robin Red Method Mix is a quantity of Haith's Robin Red. A strong-smelling ingredient that has been used in fishing for a number of years.
It is not just a bait for the Method as the name suggests. The high fishmeal content lends itself perfectly to creating a paste for the pole just by adding more water if you prefer a really sloppy paste then keep adding water until the desired consistency is reached.
