Method feeder fishing is one of the most popular techniques used by modern match anglers, this means the fish have probably already been caught on it a number of times and therefore can be a bit wary or in some lakes, they have changed the way they feed . This was noticed by Des Shipp when he kept getting knocks on the Method but they were not turning into proper bites. This is because the fish were knocking all the groundbait off the feeder without touching the hookbait, so effectively leaving the hookbait with no feed around it, which defeats the purpose of fishing a Method feeder. So, we decided to make a groundbait which was stickier, harder, denser and easy to compact onto a Method feeder for venues where this occurs. Robin Red Method Mix has a very high protein content which comes from fishmeals and ground pellets, and it is this which helps it compact round a Method feeder, this means it will easily withstand the impact of casting, hitting the water and the drop through the water and any little knocks from fish trying to knock away the groundbait. Included in Robin Red Method Mix is ​​a quantity of Haith's Robin Red. A strong-smelling ingredient that has been used in fishing for a number of years. It is not just a bait for the Method as the name suggests. The high fishmeal content lends itself perfectly to creating a paste for the pole just by adding more water if you prefer a really sloppy paste then keep adding water until the desired consistency is reached.

THE ONE TO THE ONE PASTE All anglers know the effectiveness of bloodworm, pretty much every fish will have encountered and fed on bloodworm and they instinctively recognize it as a food source. We have taken the humble bloodworm and enhanced it by freeze drying it to concentrate and intensify its flavor and smell. Dried bloodworm is then added to a mix of fishmeals, crushed pellets and other proteins including dried blood to create a traditional paste that is easy to mix. Mixing traditional paste has never been easy, but One to One Paste solves this problem, providing you with the perfect paste every single time. It is so easy to mix; simply use the same amount of powdered paste mix and water, so whatever pot you use fill it to the same level with paste mix and water. Pour them both into a bait tub and mix thoroughly, this creates a very sloppy mix but simply leave it for 30 minutes and it will absorb all of the water and create the perfect paste for fishing on a pole. The best way to use your paste is to take the size you would like to use and roll it into a ball, put your thumb in the middle to make an indentation and put the hook in the thumb print, fold the paste over the hook and mold round the hook, this is then ready to place in the pot. Included in each bag of One to One Paste is a free paste pot designed to ship out the paste on the pole. These have been designed by Andy Findlay and he recommends that you place a few Fin Perfect Feed Pellets in the bottom of the pot before shipping out to help feed your swim.
