The Drennan 25L Bucket System consists of a main 25-liter bucket, plus a shallow bowl, bait riddle and zip-open cover. The main bucket is made from rugged, heavy duty polymer with a strong carry handle and features our eye-catching aqua color scheme. It has an ample 25-liter capacity plus useful internal measuring lines. The smaller bowl supplied has an approximate 5-liter capacity and sits neatly inside the main bucket's rim. The Carp 3 is a strong and rugged pole float with an extra-thick Glow Tip. At 2.4mm, the hollow bristle is the thickest and most buoyant of all the Drennan Carp and AS floats currently available. This makes it perfect for big fish, large hook baits, turbulent conditions and any situation where extra visibility and buoyancy are needed. As with all Drennan Carp and AS floats, the high-grade balsa body is machine turned in our own factories and coated with a very special and super-tough acrylic paint. This creates an impressively hardwearing 'shell' that is much more resistant to damage Also included are the unique black stainless steel spring eyes, which are smaller and neater than the majority of pole float eyes on the market and double wound so the line cannot get pinched or trapped. The oval body shape helps with stability and offers just enough of a 'shoulder' should you wish to hold the float steady against any tow or drift. The Margin Crystal is the latest innovation created with Drennan's unique precision blow-moulding technology. This float is built to the same exacting specifications as the award-winning Crystal Dibber and In-Line Crystal Dibber pole floats. The inclusion of a 2.5mm diameter hollow Glow Tip makes it a really versatile design. It works exceptionally well for fishing in the margins and towards the far bank islands. The highly visible antenna means it is just as useful for open water and can even be used for shallow fishing The transparent Crystal® body ensures that the float is much less conspicuous to wary fish compared to a traditionally painted pole float. As with all Crystal® pole floats it is engineered in Drennan's own factories, super strong and built to last. The tough polymer bodies are produced on our unique machines which had to be specially designed and modified to blow-mould at this miniature scale. A thick 1mm glass stem offers both strength and stability. A double-wound, spring side eye protects the line and cannot be ripped out of the body like a traditional side eye. Four sizes from 0.2g up to 0.5g allow the float to comfortably cover depths up to 6ft (2m) with ease. The 14ft Acolyte Ultra boasts an exceptionally slim, high modulus carbon blank. This model is just 5.25oz and actually better balanced than most 13ft models! Paired with a compact float fish reel, the rods tend to sit up in the hand at an angle above horizontal, making them a joy to fish with all day. They have been designed mainly for reel lines from 2lb 8oz to 4lb+, which is roughly 0.12mm to 0.18mm diameter monofilament. The blank feels very rigid and has a light, crisp action with little or no bounce for really excellent line and float control. At the same time, the tip action is soft enough to act as a gentle shock absorber, cushioning the strike and preventing hook pulls. This allows ultra-light hooklengths below 1lb (0.08mm) to be fished with confidence.
