ILLEX Chubby 38

Short overview

The Illex Chubby 38 is a compact floating crankbait lure designed for fishing in shallow water and along shoreline structure. It stands out with its strong vibration, lively action, and stable performance on steady retrieve as well as stop-and-go presentations. It is an excellent choice for targeting trout, chub, perch, asp, and bass.

Description

This small 3,8 cm lure was developed for efficiently covering shallows, transition areas, and zones around obstacles where predators often patrol. Thanks to its floating construction, it quickly rises during pauses, which helps when working it over branches, rocks, and other snags. The Chubby 38 performs especially well in light spinning, on a steady retrieve, with occasional pauses and short accelerations used to trigger reaction strikes.
