Quick overview

The Rapala CountDown CD07 is a sinking balsa lure designed for anglers who want to present the lure precisely through the target water layer. Thanks to its controlled sink rate and distinctive Rapala action, it is an excellent choice for spinning for trout, chub, zander, and other predators. It is suitable for casting, as well as trolling.

Description

The CD07 model from the legendary Rapala CountDown series is built for situations when fish need to be located at an exact depth. The lure sinks at a consistent rate of approximately 30 cm per second, allowing easy counting before the retrieve begins and repeatable presentation in the strike zone. The balsa body provides natural action and sensitive response in the water, while hand-tuning and testing ensure reliable performance straight out of the package. It is especially effective in rivers, lakes, and around weed edges, transition areas, and underwater structures.
