  The 11ft (3.35m) length is the perfect all-round choice for ease of both casting and playing fish on a wide variety of venues. The rod has more power than the 11ft Ultra Feeder, which makes it an ideal choice for quality fish like bream, tench, chub, carp and F1s. However, the smooth, parabolic playing action still copes really well when reeling in smaller silverfish. The slim, crisp and responsive blank cuts through the air and offers optimum casting accuracy. The cast is further enhanced by stand-off SiC guides that are deliberately spaced to help the line travel through them as smoothly as possible. This rod is ideal when matched to feeders up to 60g (2oz) and will easily cope with ranges up to 50 metres. Greater distances are achievable with sensibly balanced tackle and a good casting technique. The 11ft Plus comes with three push-in carbon tips of 2oz, 2.5oz and 3oz. These super-slim tips have been designed to blend perfectly with the rod blank. The rod can be neatly folded away into two sections, so it can be carried to the bankside in a Rod Sleeve or Rod Case and assembled in seconds. A useful set of Neoprene rod socks and a rod-retaining band are also included to help keep everything secure and protected in transit. Acolyte Distance Feeder 14ft The 14ft Acolyte Distance Feeder rod is designed for fishing at ultra long range and is capable of casting big feeders while retaining its fish playing action.   his superbly powerful rod is capable of ultra long range casting with big feeders up to 4.5oz (125g). With the right technique, distances approaching 100m can be achieved with remarkable accuracy. This rod is the perfect tool for fishing big rivers where you are casting big feeders into heavy flow and need to keep as much line out the water as possible. Many other distance feeder models end up imbalanced and over-gunned, and in some cases look more like beach casters than feeder rods!  As a result, they lose tactile contact and feel when playing fish and result in more hook-pulls. Working with five times World Champion Alan Scotthorne and top international match anglers Steve Hemingray, Darren Davies and England Feeder Team Manager Dean Barlow, we have extensively field tested and modified various Acolyte Distance Feeder prototypes in the UK and Ireland over a period of more than two years. The finished model successfully combines the normal feeder rod requirements of bite detection, sensitivity, fish playing feel and balance with ultra long range casting.  It also represents fantastic value for money compared to other models, some of which are more than twice the price! Martin Bowler points out this is more than just an ultra long range feeder rod, it is excellent for big fish, big feeders and its 14ft length provides improved line management in heavy flow. Optimum mono reel lines are 6lb to 10lb (2.7kg to 4.5kg) or 0.08 to 0.12mm braid. The oversized guides allow for shock leaders up to 12lb.
