Kairiki 4 utilises the same VT Construction Method of braiding technology as Kairiki 8. Featuring four carriers, the new tight weave construction is created by applying high tension at opposing directions during the braiding process. The fibre is weaved evenly at all angles, resulting in a smoother finish and a reduced diameter. This low stretch, long casting braid is an excellent choice for finesse fishing, where smoothness, sensitivity and castability is fundamental. Kairiki 4 is available from PE 0.6 (6lb) to PE 5 (50lb) in 150m and 300m spools, in Green and Multi colour.

The new Shimano Kairiki 4 is a renewed 4 carrier braid which is produced in Japan and now features a “VT construction Method” braiding technology. It is a very strong and smooth PE line which is perfect for casting great distances. It is available in diameters from 0.06mm up to 0.315mm with a staggering breaking strength of 29.8kg. It has the perfect properties for spinning in both fresh and saltwater since it is highly sensitive and very smooth, which also results in noise reduction. Also there will be two extra colors available next to the Mantis Green and Steel Grey, namely a highly visible Orange and Multi Color. The Multi Color is especially interesting for fishing at greater depths. Due to the smoothness and low diameter, Kairiki 4 is a great line for jigging since it has low water resistance and due to the maximum stretch of < 3.0 %, it is very sensitive as well.

Uz gotovo nikakvu razliku u težini u odnosu na ekvivalent od 2 dijela i onu glatku zakrivljenost iz V-Joint Alpha, ovo će zasigurno biti vrlo tražena opcija. Najnoviji dodatak je štap u dužini od 10'. Dizajniran za nešto lakše ribolove, ali težine bacanja do 75g. X45X Full Shield je sljedeća generacija tehnologije Bias Carbon. Inovativni sastav dvosmjernih vlakana od 45° sada se može primijeniti dalje u strukturu štapa, ali zadržati to nevjerojatno djelovanje.   Što se tiče osjećaja, oni su poboljšani primjenom SeaGuide TDG vodilica koje štede težinu. Oni ne samo da smanjuju silu pritiskanja, već i izoštravaju oporavak štapa. Brzo smanjena oscilacija štapa povećava udaljenost zabačaja. Nismo se suzdržavali ni od ručke. Fuji VSS držač role nudi uredno uklapanje u Duplon držač s laserski ugraviranim logotipom turnira na mjestu. A izvorni pluteni Armlock nastavlja pružati dodatnu stabilnost u rukovanju.  Položaji vodilica su podešeni s dodatnom vodilicom postavljenom bliže vrhu.
