The Short Single Rod Hard Case is 160cm and ideal for two-piece 10ft rods and three-piece models up to 14ft. The Long Single Rod Hard Case is 196cm and designed to accommodate most longer three-piece and two- piece 12ft models. Slimline Hard Cases are made from a hardwearing, semi-rigid material with quality double zips. They also feature an internal pocket for quivertip storage and an internal pocket for a spare spool. A handy set of neoprene rod-retaining bands are also included. They each feature a carrying handle and, as with our Single Rod Sleeves, they can also conveniently attach to the outside of a Drennan 4-6 Tube Full Zip Rod Holdall or 6-8 Tube Rod Holdall for ease of transport. The Drennan Red Range Carp Feeder rods are designed for commercial carp fisheries where the next fish could be a small roach or a double-figure carp.The 11ft (3.35m) model has a dark, burgundy red finish with a cork and duplon handle, screw-down reel seat and a neat keeper ring, offering superb value for money. These versatile carbon blanks are lightweight and well balanced with a beautiful fish playing action that is rigid enough to provide pinpoint, accurate casting, but forgiving enough to be a perfect shock absorber and avoid hook pulls. As the power of the rod comes into play progressively, playing even small carp and silverfish is an enjoyable experience, yet the rod is still capable of landing larger hard-fighting carp with ease. The 11ft model is a slightly heavier version with recommended reel lines of 5lb to 8lb (0.20mm to 0.25mm) and has slow taper glass quivertips of 2oz and 3oz. Because of the stronger rod and heavier tip it is able to cast larger feeders up to around 40 metres without compromising on accuracy and fish playing action.
