Our expertise in plastics manufacturing has enabled us to come up with a superb, soft, durable, life-like and buoyant compound, which makes for a brilliant artificial hook bait! Our artificial Buoyant Maggots have now accounted for an incredible number of big tench, bream and carp. They represent truly excellent value for money and are deadly when used critically balanced with both maggot feeders and Method feeders, in particular! The three different sizes of Buoyant Maggot can be used on a wide range of hooks to produce effective baits that are sinking, critically balanced or popped up. They are also very effective in conjunction with a live maggot or as a combination bait with real or artificial sweetcorn. These baits are also pineapple flavoured and dusted in food grade starch powder. The pineapple flavour is a proven attractant which can be boosted or even over-ridden by immersion in more concentrated flavours.

The shovel-shaped design includes a unique, tapered heavyweight base with the lead biased towards the front end or leading edge. So casting distance and accuracy is massively improved.They are also very low profile, sitting down tight to the lake bed and are produced in a groundbait/puddle brown tint, so are really unobtrusive. Three sizes, each with a standard Method Connector bead included. Produced in our own factories, the quality of build is strikingly different to many alternatives!

The Drennan Wind Beater Fleece is a high-performance garment that serves as an effective block to wind and the chill factor.It is designed to be worn on its own or as a mid layer beneath the Drennan Waterproof Jacket. It is extremely practical and comfortable and, as the name suggests, offers excellent protection from the wind.
The 100% polyester fabric consists of two micro layers of fleece with a Wind Beater breathable and showerproof laminate in between. It is finished in our trademark understated aqua, grey and black livery with high quality embroidered logos. It has a soft-touch collar, Neoprene-lined cuffs and concealed waist toggles to help keep drafts at bay. It also has a chunky full-length YKK zip with an easy-grip toggle, plus two zipped hand pockets and an additional zipped security pocket for other important items.

High quality carbon tips exclusively designed to fit the Drennan Acolyte Feeder rod range.
These super slim, high modulus carbon feeder tips blend in perfectly with Drennan Acolyte Feeder rod blanks. A progressive, slow taper combined with a parabolic action leads to enhanced bite detection. The extra slim carbon used produces a significantly lighter Feeder Tip with less tip bounce and faster recovery when compared to the equivalent in glass. These tips have impressive sensitivity and are a real aid to bite detection. Acolyte Feeder Tips have accurately quoted test curves and are only interchangeable with the current range of Acolyte Ultra Feeder and Acolyte Plus Feeder rods.1oz – Orange

Supplex Fluorocarbon is available in no less than 12 accurate diameters and breaking strains, from 0.075mm (0.9lb) right up to 0.30mm (10lb).As it is made from 100% fluorocarbon, it is exceptionally abrasion resistant, sinks well and doesn’t degrade in sunlight like standard mono can. It also has a very similar refractive index to water, making it almost invisible in clear water.
Fluorocarbon is also less prone to spinning up on the retrieve compared to standard mono, making it a great choice for when you are continually casting out and reeling in. Each size comes on a convenient 50m spool that shouldn’t take up too much room in your tackle box. In clear water and when bites are at a premium, Supplex Fluorocarbon can make all the difference!
