The Drennan Red Range Carp Feeder rods are designed for commercial carp fisheries where the next fish could be a small roach or a double-figure carp.The 11ft (3.35m) model has a dark, burgundy red finish with a cork and duplon handle, screw-down reel seat and a neat keeper ring, offering superb value for money.
These versatile carbon blanks are lightweight and well balanced with a beautiful fish playing action that is rigid enough to provide pinpoint, accurate casting, but forgiving enough to be a perfect shock absorber and avoid hook pulls. As the power of the rod comes into play progressively, playing even small carp and silverfish is an enjoyable experience, yet the rod is still capable of landing larger hard-fighting carp with ease.
The 11ft model is a slightly heavier version with recommended reel lines of 5lb to 8lb (0.20mm to 0.25mm) and has slow taper glass quivertips of 2oz and 3oz. Because of the stronger rod and heavier tip it is able to cast larger feeders up to around 40 metres without compromising on accuracy and fish playing action.

This version is rated for reel lines from 4lb to 7lb (normally 0.18mm to 0.23mm) and is supplied with tips of 1.5oz and 2oz test curve. It will cast small to medium sized feeders up to 30 metres both easily and accurately and the shorter length is perfect for smaller swims where room to cast and play fish is restricted.

DRENNAN Winder Bungs

Produced in an extra tough, ultra light material, the four sizes of Polemaster Winder Bungs fit an extremely wide range of top sections.Each Winder Bung will hold numerous turns of elastic, allowing small lengths to be let out or wound in and precise adjustments to be made to the tension of your pole elastic. The Medium and Large sizes will even hold a several turns of larger diameter Drennan Carp Bungee hollow elastic.The winder section has a dovetail joint, which allows it to be separated from the tapered bung and reassembled with ease if necessary. The tapered cone section also has a small drainage channel in each side to prevent water becoming trapped inside the top sections.The tapered cones on the four sizes of bung each have a ribbed section which can be cut down with a sharp knife or junior hacksaw. This simple modification gives each size a maximum and minimum diameter. The range can therefore be made to fit all pole sections and top kits with an internal bore between 10mm and 30mm.These ultra light Wnder Bungs weigh so little that they will have minimal effect on the balance or action of your pole.
