The Cardiff Foletta 50SS is a slow sinking minnow, designed for small to medium sized predators. The swimming action is based on the movement of small fish: nervous kicking action with a small roll, making it irresistible for all predators. The perfect action is created by making short pitch jerks during the retrieve, resulting in the lure darting with extra flashing, giving the last trigger for predators to hammer the bait. With its angled profile front the Wobble Swimmer is perfect for high-pitch wobbling which is very effective when the fish are feeding towards the surface. A slower retrieve produces a strong wave wobbling action that shakes the entire body creating additional attraction.

The Cardiff Dartheat is especially developed for working the lure down to the bottom. The lure makes a dart action when giving a small jerk. This is especially effective for rainbow trout during winter time, when most fish are concentrated near the bottom due to the low water temperature. The sharp darting action really triggers the fish to bite. The recommended action is to let the lure sink to the bottom, give a small jerk to let the bait dart and wait around 3 seconds before making the next dart. The pause during winter can be really essential to let the fish come close, observe the bait, and when you give the next dart, the fish will be directly triggered and grab the bait. Also during the fall the bait has a nice wobble down and the fin on the back ensures a stable position on the bottom.    

“Chibi’ means in Japanese very small or ‘cute’. The chibitoro is the smaller version of the jointed Fuwatoro series and is perfect for down-sizing when the trout are very picky. The Chibitoro has a very compact body which also is comparable to the trout pellets where farmed trout are usually fed with. The recommended action is ultra-slow retrieve or even just cast and wait until the fish take the bait from the surface (like ‘dry fly’ flyfishing). This lure can really make the difference on highly preasured fishing ponds. Depth: 0.5

The Bantam Pavlo Shad 59 SP is a shad type of hard bait that is successful at both High-speed and by jerking, resulting in a ‘dart action’. The Pavlo Shad has a ‘Jerk assist Balancer system’  when jerking, the weight moves to the rear side, resulting in a very appealing darting action. When starting retrieving again, the weight moves back to the front again, giving the lure a stable swimming action again, even at high speed!    

The Bantam Macbeth is a great crank for cover cranking. Due to the unique low center of gravity weight the lure barely gets snagged anymore (see movie). The wide action is due to the ‘Slash Edge lip’, which has a thinner design on both sides, that gives less water resistance and as a result a better and wider rolling and kicking action.

Due to the round and bulky shape, it has both a rolling and wide kicking action, making it irresistible for all predators. Also there is a deep sound rattle, making it even more attractive. And because of the bulky shape, it gives great casting distance for a relative small crankbait. Due to the small bend in the lip, the crank stays close to horizontal in the water.
