The Guru N-Gauge Specimen Reels have been designed to cover a wide range of fishing situations, whether you’re targeting double figure carp on a commercial, or hard fighting barbel on a river, these N-Gauge Specimen Reels have you covered.

One of our main goals with the N-Gauge Specimen reel project was to cover a vast range of fishing scenarios, that’s why we’ve developed three-reel sizes; 4000, 5000 and 6000, covering every fishing situation you’re likely to come up against. Each N-Gauge Specimen Reel has 5+1 Carbon Ball Bearings which provides increased cranking performance, an aspect that is vital on a specimen style reel.

The N-Gauge Specimen Reels feature a lightweight graphite body that provides the reels with the perfect balance of strength and performance. All the N-Gauge Specimen reels have an aluminium spool, an essential aspect to this reel’s performance and durability. Along with an aluminium handle and soft touch T-shape handle knob, giving you ultimate control when playing hard fighting fish.

Finishing off the reels is an Adjustable Free Spool system which allows you to set the Free Spool for steady release, beneficial when targeting hard fighting fish such as barbel and carp. The adjustability of the N-Gauge Free Spool allows you to intricately fine tune the system for optimum performance.
